"Welcome to Astronomy, Emily." Narcissa said. "Now let's start, the new topic is stars." Narcissa wrote 'Stars' on the board. "Anyone know anything about stars? Please don't answer 'they're in the sky', okay?" Narcissa said.

"Yes, I can say a whole paragraph, at least, I think." Millicent took a breath. "The basic difference between a star and a planet is that a star emits light produced in its interior by fusion reactions (nuclear `burning'), whereas a planet only shines by reflected light. There seem to be an enormous number of stars that are visible to the naked-eye at a really dark site but, in fact, the eye can only see about two thousand stars in the sky at one time. We can see the unresolved light of many thousands more when we look at the Milky Way and the light of the Andromeda galaxy which can be seen by the eye comes from thousands of millions of stars." Millicent said.

Narcissa laughed. "Very good, my dear niece." Narcissa said. Oh no. I said it. Narcissa thought.

Millicent's eyes widened. "Niece?" She asked. She stared at her Proffesor, erm, Aunt in shock.

Narcissa took a silent moment for a while. "Yes. Now let us continue. Millicent explained what a star is. Now, do you know any star?" Narcissa asked, still thinking.

"Yes, that is true. The Sun is our own special star yet, as stars go, it is a very average star. There are stars far brighter, fainter, hotter and cooler than the Sun. Basically, however, all the stars we can see in the sky are objects similar to the Sun." Narcissa explained.

"Many stars occur in groupings that are called star clusters. These clusters are divided into Open Clusters and Globular Clusters. The open clusters contain small number of young stars; the globular clusters are much older and contain may more stars. Am I correct?" Millicent asked, trying not to act weird.

"I will not answer that question, Millicent. And yes, you are correct about Star Clusters." Narcissa said. "Emily, I have not heard so much about those things you have said about."
